P6 HCL Learning Journey to Singapore Chinese Cultural Centre 2026
Our Primary 6 Higher Chinese Language students visited the Singapore Chinese Cultural Centre, where they explored what it means to be Chinese in Singapore and reflected on how culture, language, and traditions continue to evolve in a multicultural society.
At the Centre, students explored the SINGAPO人: Discovering Chinese Singaporean Culture exhibition. Through engaging displays and activities, they gained insights into how Chinese culture in Singapore has been shaped by history and multicultural interactions.
This learning journey encouraged students to reflect on their own cultural roots, consider how heritage evolves over time, and appreciate the ways in which local Chinese culture contributes to Singapore’s multicultural society. It was a meaningful opportunity for students to deepen their understanding of identity and cultural heritage beyond the classroom.
