Immersion Programme 2026
Students fostered global awareness and cultural understanding through an enriching exchange with Taipei peers.
Overseas Exchange Programme with Taipei Municipal Wenhua Elementary School
Our school had the privilege of hosting students and teachers from Taipei Municipal Wenhua Elementary School on 7 and 8 April 2026, providing a meaningful platform for cross-cultural interaction and learning. This exchange programme created valuable opportunities for students to connect, broaden their perspectives, and deepen their appreciation of different cultures.
The visiting group, comprising Primary 3 to Primary 6 students, was warmly welcomed by our Primary 5 students, who took on the role of buddies. Through this partnership, our students served as confident ambassadors of our school and Singapore, guiding their overseas peers and supporting them in navigating school life.
During the visit, the students participated in classroom lessons alongside their buddies, experiencing authentic learning in a Singapore school setting. They also joined our Co-Curricular Activities, allowing for further interaction and collaboration beyond the classroom. These shared experiences sparked possibilities for meaningful friendships to form, while fostering communication, empathy, and mutual understanding.
The programme also provided opportunities for our Heritage Ambassadors to share about our school’s culture and values, offering visitors deeper insights into our learning environment and traditions.
Through this enriching exchange, students from both schools gained fresh perspectives, strengthened their global awareness, and developed a deeper appreciation of cultural diversity.
