P2 Social Studies Learning Journey to Children's Museum Singapore 2026
21 & 23 Apr & 5, 13, 14 & 26 May
Throughout April and May, our Primary 2 students visited the Children’s Museum Singapore. This journey brought the Social Studies curriculum to life, transforming the museum into a vibrant classroom.
The highlight of the visit was the "Tingkat Tales" exhibition. Through this multi-sensory experience, students explored Singapore’s diverse customs and shared hawker culture. Engaging with interactive displays, our young learners discovered how local food traditions serve as a common thread that unites our nation.
By stepping out of the classroom, students gained a deeper appreciation for Singapore's food heritage and the importance of multicultural harmony. These activities helped build the foundations for them to become informed, participative citizens who value our national identity.
