P4 Sports Education Programme 2026
As part of our school’s Sports Education Programme (SEP), the Primary 4 students had a wonderful opportunity to step into the world of Goalball — a sport specially designed for athletes with visual impairment.
On 19 May 2026, they took part in a 1.5-hour session led by qualified Goalball coaches. The session was lively and hands-on — students learned the rules and fundamentals of the sport before trying it out themselves through warm-up activities, practice drills, and even a friendly game to round things off!
One of the most exciting parts of the experience was playing with blindfolds on, relying entirely on sound to locate the ball. This gave our students a real sense of the challenges that people with visual impairment face — not just in sport, but in everyday life.
Beyond the fun and excitement, the programme left our students with something truly valuable: a deeper sense of empathy and kindness towards others. We hope this experience has inspired them to be more thoughtful, compassionate individuals who are always ready to lend a helping hand to those around them.
